SF Opera

Last act for the Stern Grove summer performance season. I made it back to the house at 6am, cooked rice, jumped into the shower, rolled sushi, made hot tea and drove out to Stern Grove and parked myself at a good spot. It was a little after 8am. I thought maybe I can snooze a bit since the show won't start for another 6 hours. Robert, was actually at the park too. He baked this bread himself till 2am. It was beautiful and delicious.

Amber's mom doing her own new age Deity art work.

Fun t-shirts Robert likes to collect.

This is Amber who is holding a heart shaped chocolate chip walnut cookie. I later found out she's allergic to nuts. Oopse! Yup the same cookie meant for Naji's road trip to AS
U that didn't make it to him and I mailed to him via USPS that also got mailed back to. What a journey these cookies have gone through. On the day he left, I set my alarm clock to wake up in time to say good bye and hand him cookies for his long drive, but I didn't check my alarm was low on battery and so it was slow on time, very slow. So I was sad to have missed our good bye parting and decided to mail the cookies well packed in foam to cushion it from the shipping. Well, it was pretty well packed and it came back good too. So I brought the box of cookies and shared it with neighbors.

A mom who brought face painting kit to paint faces on the kids. It was a good idea and she did a good job on the kids.

This man is getting escorted out of the park for civil unrest. I think he was a bit drunk. He stepped onto the rock in between songs and began to proclaim and over throw of the Obama government.

Ethyl who is a stylist did my hair while Robert was assigned the comb holder, a very import post indeed.

Diane who I see at the performances always dressed beautifully and with her needles and yarn in hand. We some how like similar spots and are some how usually neighbors.

Opera, makes me cry. But today, I didn't, which is a nice thing, crying in public isn't a good thing. I'm not one of those pretty cryers, I sob like there's no tomorrow, totally ugly and loud.

Robert made me an origami humming bird and lily off his memory. It was pretty cool.

A wonderful day, no sleep and I had to push myself to stay awake for ABDC and watch last week's Beyonce challenge that I missed and stay awake for this week's Martial Art Challenge. Still worth it. I can sleep next week.
