So Cold and So Warm

Day 5
Silver can no longer get into the truck by himself, he is officially a senior who needs a ramp or a lift.

An Oregon trip without Henry's truck is just not the same. He even put out a thick pad for us.

Tiger making use of the wind to style his hair. Tiger is from Calgary Canada and Mudra is from Santa Monica, CA.

The truck ride would not be the same without Darius. Now that this is David's 2nd waterfall and 1st truck ride, maybe in later years, it wouldn't be the same without David too.

This year we had talkies and that was a good thing. With a group this large is good to stay in communication on who is where. It used to be Henry who would just run the trail back and forth to get the messages across or figure out what is going on. Thomas and Eric at the start of the trail.

Whenever Eric comes to Oregon, major things needed to be done somehow, like digging a new pipe line across the grounds etc... We never know about the things we need to do until we get here and as the week unfolds. I've learned, if he and Nam are signed up, that means major work needs to be done in Oregon that would require their man power. Someone up above knows and makes sure we've got the talents we need to make this week run smooth. So when I saw them on the sign up list, I had a feeling, the trip could use an extra helping hand.

The waterfalls are pretty here. It's also so green and lush.

Fedde is from Holland. Infront of him is Liz from NY.

The waterfall water is like Titanic water. It's soooo cold and yet it's sooo feels good. Afterwards, everyone looks younger, fresher, and rejuvenated. I made sure to pack tea, gaiwan, stove, water, chocolate chip cookies for the after water warm up and snack. We sat in a circle and chatted while Darius made tea for us. We had Henry's High Mountain tea and my Bao Jong.

We talked about what was the best gift we gave, we would like to give and we recieved.

The truck is so cold and so warm after the waterfall.

This is the evening unofficial stretch group, unorganized and totally spontaneous each evening. It's amazing how many people can do the splits. We stretched after the camp fire sing along without the camp fire.

It usually rains on the day we go the falls. And today it rained also like the past. We usually make the falls trip on Friday but this year we did it on Thursday and so it rained on Thursday. What this means to me is that my tent will have another day to dry before packing up. Not only that, my tent worked in keeping me dry on the inside when it rained in the morning. On this same day usually, some sees a rainbow and this year Eric did.
