Triple Digits

It must have hit triple digits today, at least it felt like it. I went with my sister Helen and her 3 adorable kids to the school's fundraiser BBQ night. Rocky stayed home. I love the kids! Then we dropped off the kids at her house and took off to hang out in a place with A/C. We ended up going to check out a 3 week old Korean place. This place sold only 4 things, all noodles. It was packed and the noodles looked good. The kimchi was good too. We ended up drinking a lot of ice water. I guess this place is also known for noodle refills. But we were stuffed and we were hot from the spicy sauce. We went to cool off, which we did but we ended up burning longer from the spicy sauce.

Well, the plan worked and didn't work.
We wanted to hang out and we did.
We wanted to munch, which we did.
We wanted to cool off, which we did.
We wanted to eat good food, which we did.
We hadn't planned to be stuffed, which we ended up doing.
We hadn't planned to replace one heat for another, which we ended up doing.
It was all worth it.
