Ski Day

Day 2

Striking a pose for Elaine.

Laura was game for skiing. We stopped by a rental shop to pick out a ski set for Laura. The cheapest deal was $10 and she picked the $20.

Amy was wonderful in taking her time out from her ski to make sure we were both situated on the slope. She spent like an hour helping Laura with her basics. She tried to teach me parallel ski but I had trouble with balance and a clean life of one leg. Both Laura and I stayed on one slope, the bunny slope. We both haven't ski at all since the 90's.

Here is Amy doing an extreme jump. We were a Sierra Tahoe Ski Ranch.

We took the wrong turn and ended up at Tallac Historical Museum Park. We decided it would be the place where we took our walk for the day. We walked to the lake and sat and meditated to the sounds of the water, very prestine.

The sunset was beautiful. Amy was very animated in telling us her ski adventures. Glad she's lived to tell them.

Had a wonderful amazing day!
