Inspirational Day on Being the Change
Listened to the presentations of what people are doing on a grassroots level from a place of compassion, kindness projects benefiting communities. I reflected on all those things and I felt small and petty for each thing I was stuck on in my tiny little world called my life.
Amidt, a big giant bear, reminds me of a strong Vajra, kind and stable, new to the monastery gave me a giant bear hug. A much needed one I have found on my end. There is something within him that is straight and righteous that commands without oppression and it is easy to trust without question. He wrapped his arms around my back and lifted me up and shook my spine and broke free of all my fatigue in the body from the day. What a wonderful gift of surprise.
